Privacy notice
You can learn everything here without telling us who you are. When we do need data, we keep as little as possible and lock it away.

Who is responsible

In short
- Learning needs no personal data. No account, no sign-in. Your progress stays in your browser.
- No trackers. No advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking scripts, no social media pixels. We load no fonts or scripts from other companies.
- No cookies for visitors. The only cookie we set is a security cookie for Council members who sign in to the administration area.
- Donations: we process the origin address you enter and its screening results. We ask for personal information only if the Council’s review of a received donation requires it. It is encrypted and only the Council can read it.
- We never sell data.

Blockchain data is public
Blockchain transactions are public and permanent. Anyone can see your sending address and transaction on the blockchain, whatever we do. Our Transparency page lists each donation by amount, asset, date, transaction link and status, without names, emails, countries, information given to the Council or origin-address labels.
Who can see your data
- The Council of LSS, through an authenticated, audit-logged administration area.
- Service providers we use to run the gateway, for example a sanctions-screening service (which receives only the address being checked) and, above the higher threshold, an identity-verification provider. [LAWYER: list providers and transfer safeguards.]
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
We never sell or rent personal data and never use it for advertising.
Security
Personal data from the donation gateway, contributions and the newsletter is encrypted in our database with a key kept separately. Backups are encrypted. Access is restricted to the Council and every administrative action is logged.
Transfers between jurisdictions

Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Children can use the learning platform without giving any personal data. There are no accounts or public profiles for minors, and no behavioural tracking. [LAWYER: age thresholds by jurisdiction.]
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Some records (for example donation screening records) must be kept for legal reasons even if you ask us to delete them; we will tell you when that applies. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
