Phobos
The larger and inner of Mars's two small moons, slowly spiralling inward.

A moon that rises in the west and is slowly falling towards Mars.
Phobos is a small, irregular moon about 22 km across. It orbits Mars in less than 8 hours, faster than Mars rotates, so it rises in the west and sets in the east as seen from Mars.
Tidal forces are slowly pulling it closer to Mars. In some tens of millions of years it will either crash into Mars or break up into a ring.
