Objectives and Main Goals of the
Local Solar System Foundation
The Local Solar System Foundation is a global non-profit organization aimed at stopping and reversing all existing damage done to our planet by diverse types of pollution an at improving the quality of life of its inhabitants through science.
We divide the work we do globally via international chapters that serve specific initiatives, each initiative is oriented at solving one particular problem.
Right now the Light Initiative is available to receive donations for night sky preservation and restoration efforts you can donate here
A.
To develop strategies that reduce and revert the impact of human activity that negatively affects our planet.
Areas in which the foundation is engaging in initiatives are:
Blue Initiative – Urgent Environmental Threats
- Combating ocean water pollution.
- Improving overall air quality
- Stabilizing and Reversing rising sea levels and related side effects on our ecosystem.
Green Initiative – Energy and Natural Resource depletion
- Combating natural resource depletion.
- Researching more efficient wind generation technologies with lower footprint.
- Stabilizing human population growth and natural resource depletion on our planet
Red Initiative – Quality of Life:
- Researching ways to stop and reverse ageing, providing better and healthier lives.
- Light Initiative – Night Sky preservation efforts
- Reducing visual pollution [Powerlines, Industrial visual pollution, cellphone towers]
B.
Why the foundation is different from other NPOs.
We serve as a knowledgeable bridge between the scientific community and the Industrial, Financial and Regulatory Sector.
- Educating all industries in regards to their processes and its real carbon impact.
- Educating Governments and Regulatory Bodies on regards to the impact on policies and green regulatory practices.
- Helping entities restructure their processes to build a green and sustainable lifecycle.
- Working with the Financial Sector to promote carbon negative services to the supply chain
- Working with banks to fund only carbon negative projects.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
To solve a problem, it is crucial to understand it from different perspectives. Hence, we conduct research within various sectors and investigate its implications on them to understand the underlying causes of specific problems and how each branch could contribute to the solution.
Solving problems merely by attacking the end result is an incorrect approach. We are not going to solve the marine pollution problem by collecting plastic from the ocean or from rivers. The way to solve it is by understanding the core drivers that enable the production and failed reclamation of such plastic, including a clear understanding of the underlying economics of such drivers.
The Management Board of the Local Solar System Foundation contains some of the most talented economists and financial minds in the world. This allows us to understand a problem from its origins and to implement viable solutions that are sustainable and compatible with a capitalistic perspective.
Solutions provided by the Local Solar System Foundation take into consideration the applicable regulatory framework, the specific limitations of economics within contributing industries and the underlying drivers that ultimately result in the production of pollution and its unintended consequences for our planet.
FINANCING THE ACTIVITIES
The Local Solar System Foundation relies entirely on donations from individuals such as you. The only way we can reach these goals is with your help. Please donate. Every single dollar counts. Without you, we would be unable to reach any of these goals.

WE ARE A NON PROFIT ENTITY
The Local Solar System Foundation is based in various jurisdictions in which it is usually registered under a Non Profit Entity Status. Authorities in these countries require the Local Solar System Foundation to meet several conditions to maintain this qualification. Registration may vary from Jurisdiction to Jurisdiction. Apart from focusing on the general good, NPOs must be transparent about their policies and formal organizational issues, and must adhere to reasonable checks and balances, costs and remuneration.
The Local Solar System Foundation adheres to these standards by maintaining the following practices:
The remuneration policy for the Management Board and employees takes into account the fact that all income comes from donations. Intrinsic motivation to work on this ambitious and meaningful mission is the major factor driving people to join the Local Solar System Foundation.
The Local Solar System Foundation draws up the annual accounts within five months of the end of the year and publishes the annual report, including the annual accounts, the auditors’ opinion, the management and activity report and the report of the Supervisory Board, on the website no later than July 1 of any year. Though the Management Board draws up an annual budget, the character of the activities implies that the Management and Supervisory Board both regularly reconsider the budget, along with the development of projects.
