Welcome to the Local Solar System International Research Network
What is the IRN?
The Local Solar System International Research Network, or IRN, is a closed-ended system that allows the scientific community to engage in conversational interaction and relevant scientific discussion within a private network available only to qualified scientists.
The IRN is completely free and is autonomously managed and moderated by the scientific community. This initiative is funded by the Local Solar System Foundation.
Objective
The Local Solar System Research Network has the objective of providing a platform that facilitates, enables and encourages discussion of scientific research, hypotheses, theories and possible interactions, links and interconnections of research conducted by third parties.
Collaboration in Research
The IRN allows members to post queries in a collaborative platform, similar to that of a closed-ended forum where the exchange of information is visible and where discussion is accessible to other researchers in that specific field. The platform allows for interaction with other researchers in the context of all relevant elements and components of each specific research group, thereby making unlikely discoveries by similar relation. This has a dramatic impact in reducing the amount of time allocated by researchers when exploring hypotheses within their field.
Qualified Interaction
Conversational interaction within the IRN is, in essence, the exchange of information between two or more participants, in which the primary purpose of the interaction is discovery or relationship-building. There is no central entity around which the interaction revolves. Rather, the interaction is a free exchange of information with no defined constraints, generally focused on research on each of the parties. By making this platform a non-public, closed network, researchers save time through the receipt of input originating only from qualified fellow researchers. Information on the IRN will never be made public unless all participating parties explicitly request that it be made public.

Attaining success in any research endeavor is undoubtedly difficult,
requiring immeasurable patience, perseverance and discipline.
