Ethical Framework
We have always had a long-term perspective on our activities and initiatives and we recognize a responsibility not only to our staff, which is our most valuable resource, but also to our grantees and partners, the communities in which we work, and the scientific community we are trying to help.
For us, it is all about working tirelessly towards our long-term goals with a down-to-earth approach, focusing on simplicity and daring to be different. To ensure we all live up to these standards and expectations, we have supplemented our values with an ethical framework that states the behavior we all mirror.
The Local Solar System Foundation Ethical Framework
This Ethical Framework applies to all members of the Local Solar System Foundation. The use of the term “Ethical Framework” refers solely to the Ethical Framework for the Foundation which you are now reading. This Ethical Framework was adopted by the Foundation’s board of directors on September 10th 2019 and may be amended only by the board.
The work of the Local Solar System Foundation is built on a solid basis of honesty, trust and innovation. Our ethics are the basis of our actions.
